RGB & The Bee Hive, Jalan Damai, Kuala Lumpur

It's been so long since I've updated my blog bout' food, finally!
I've been wanting to try out this vegan cafe that was introduced by one of my college friends. As you know, go vegan is a trend right now, and it also helps to save the world ;)

RGB stands for 'Roast, Grind, Brew', but it could stand for 'Rather Good Beans'.

Don't be afraid to step into this signboard-free cafe. You have to look for the number 35 and enter the bungalow to be assured that you're in the right place. The environment inside is warm, cozy and welcoming. I would love to come here to do my assignments and also have a cup of coffee at the same time someday. Great coffee, great vegetarian menu ^_^

Hot Chocolate // RM 11.00
To be honest, this is the best hot chocolate I've ever had so far.
It's RAW, velvety, smooth.. * ahh *
It doesn't taste like those typical milky hot chocolate, this taste like real real hot chocolate, you get to take the raw-ness of the cacao bean. First sip is love, but second sip is like falling from cloud nine.

Ice Lemon Tea // RM 11.00
freshly made from scratch

MEAT-FREE FOOD IS THE RULE AT RGB ( ! )

Mac & Cheese ( kid's meal ) // RM 9.00
First bite it tasted kind of weird, but then after the second bite, there's a hint of coconut aroma. I assumed that they used coconut milk instead of the regular full cream milk. But it really tasted so good, almost guilt free! There's green peas, corn and raisins.

Potato Rosti // RM 19.00
It consist of hash brown, spinach, and tempeh.
Look at the wonderful charred marks of the hash brown! ^_^
FYI, tempeh is a traditional soy product originating from Indonesia.
Tempeh is marinated overnight, then boiled, roasted, stored and pan-fried. The tempeh created a meat illusion * sneaky * It was quite salty for my taste. But it sure does match well with the hash brown. GUILT-FREE!
