A・Toast Breakfast & Juice Bar, Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur

A・Toast Breakfast & Juice Bar is provides easy grab and go sandwich and juice, while you're on your way to work or even college. They open from as early as 0600 in the morning on weekdays, and 0900 in the morning for on weekends.

The alphabet " A " actually means A class, which means quality toast.

This breakfast shop has tiny space yet cozy enough to prepare you a delicious meal. If you're driving, you can park your car behind the street. I would like to recommend you to sit inside instead of outside, or either doggy bag it.

Having trouble eating your sandwiches? * smirk *
No worries! As they're thoughtful enough, they will provide disposable gloves for you so that you can enjoy your sandwich without making your hands dirty!

So, here's what my friends and I had ordered:

Signature Black Sesame Toast Sandwich ( Deluxe ) // RM 9.30
Regular - Sunny Side Up
Deluxe - Sunny Side Up + Chicken Ham

Signature Wholemeal Toast Sandwich ( Deluxe ) // RM 9.30
Regular - Cheesy Hashbrown
Deluxe - Cheesy Hashbrown + Sun Shine Egg

Lemon Grilled Chicken Sandwich // RM 8.90
classic white toast with homemade lemon sauce

Cheesy Grilled Chicken Open Sandwich // RM 12.90
black sesame toast, green fancy salad and grilled chicken breast topped off with cheese sauce

Classic French Toast // RM 7.90
two piece of french toast, topped with honey and mixed fruits of the day

Neutral Pure Juice
( Apple + Celery Carrot ) // RM 8.90

Sweet Pure Juice
( Dragonfruit + Grape + Apple ) // RM 8.90

Overall, A・Toast is a good place for nice comfort yet affordable sandwich, and freshly squeeze juice, besides than taking in your normal caffeinated beverages. If you're in a hurry, you can choose to take away as there is a kiosk counter at the side of the shop. Of course, if you have time to spare, dine in is the best.

First of all, I would like to tell you girls / boys,
always be honest to your another one, don't ever try to cheat on them, it will be a shit ass painful to see it happen when you see the one that who care most about you, feeling hurt, disappointed, heart broken..

The value of honesty cannot be overstated. Every time someone lies, the alarm bells aren't going to stop and that person's nose isn't going to grow larger, but something definitely will happen. Tell everything like everything is, rather than sugar coating everything.

If someday, they chose not to trust you with 100% trust, do not blame them.
They did nothing wrong to deserve the blame. You can only blame yourself for being stupid.
You won't know how much you love him / her, until they leave.

Do not let this happen in your life, once it happened, the scar on their heart will never disappear, no matter how hard you try to fix it, or patch it.
Appreciate what you have before it's gone.

What comes around goes back around, remember.
Treat them how you wanted to be treated.

Nectarine Blueberry Galette | mandybakes

Finally, this recipe is up!

If you're looking for something to make, this Nectarine Blueberry Galette might be just the thing for you! I've made them the day before I go for my trip to Singapore with my friends, Karmen and Rachel.

I love galettes because the rustic tart-like / pie-like crust, is filled with any type of fresh fruits that you want, and the fact that galette doesn't has to look "perfect"!

Nectarine Blueberry Galette
Type : Dessert, On The Go, Breakfast
Prep-time : 1 hour 15minutes
Bake time : 30minutes

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar + 1 tbsp sugar ( divided )
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter ( chilled )
1/4 to 1/2 cup ice water
1 tbsp cornstarch
4 medium nectarines ( pitted and cut into slices )
1 pint basket blueberries
1 egg

1. Combine flour, 1 tbsp sugar, salt in a food processor, pulse to combine. OR you can whisk it with a forks to get it all corporate.
2. Add butter. Pulse the mixture until a sandy like texture. OR massage the butter with the dry ingredients with your bare hands.
3. Add 1/4 cup ice water. Test dough to see if it holds together. Add more ice water, 1 tbsp at a time, if it's not holding together. Dough should not be sticky or feel wet.
4. Roll the dough flat around 1/4" thick and wrap it in a plastic wrap and place it in the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 375F / 190C.
7. While the dough is chilling, mix the fruits, cornstarch, and 1/4 cup sugar together in a medium bowl. Let the fruits rest for 30minutes.
8. Remove the dough from the fridge, and place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spoon the fruits into the center and fold in sides.
9. Whisk 1 egg in a small bowl, brush onto the crust.
10. Sparkle the crust with some sugar.
11. Bake for 30minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
12. After taking out from the oven, let it chill and is ready to be served!
